First off hats off to the best customer service I have received over the years. It is a pleasure writing this review for HotDog Opolis. When you walk in it is small but BIG flavor and the traffic moves quickly to make room for the next person. We went to the counter to order and we had a coupon that we saved as we do not make it out to this area often. The gentleman taking our order took the coupon for verification. There was an issue! And you would think this would put a halt to our order. No not at all they took our order allowed us to pay the discounted cost and informed us that they would let us know the outcome. The owner comes out to the floor to check on her patrons to ensure all is well. We finished our perfectly cooked Polish sausage (great snap), Chicago style hot dog, extra crispy french fries we requested and a bottle Cream soda made with cane sugar. So Good! We were ready to go so we checked in at the counter for results on the coupon. We were told not to worry that they would handle it and to enjoy our day. We got there 11:30 so we were able to order and eat. By the time we left it was getting crowded. I had a terrible experience with the service at this establishment. I know for a fact that I had placed an order for swe... I had a terrible experience with the service at this establishment. I know for a fact that I had placed an order for sweet potato fries because my friend witnessed it. I also placed an order for a couple of items to go in addition to the items I planned to eat there. I get the items that had planned to eat there BUT not the fries. Because I thought they were on back order with the fries I waited a couple of minutes before asking for them. When I asked the cashier said, "Oh, it's coming right up." I wait more and then ask again later for the fries. The same cashier tells me, "Oh you didn't order fries." He shows me a reprint of my receipt and I look at my original and he did not order the fries but he also didn't order my to-go items correctly either. He put MORE items than what I wanted on my tab. Then to straighten out my to-go order was another mess because I didn't want all that food. He didn't understand that in the beginning and when he finally understood then he gave me a refund.
